Mawson’s Guardian Speaks: A Writer-Bear needs a Guardian because it isn’t easy to get their own furry selves recognised these days. People say, “But you are a bear”. Most frustrating. Anyway when you hit four keys at a time with your big paws can create a terrible muddle in the writing. Someone has to sort it out. So Mark is Mawson’s Guardian.
Baffled Bear Books ABN 47887910119: This means Me, Mark, Guardian of Mawson Bear. We live in Perth, Western Australia,
Mawson has the glamorous job of Pondering about Baffling Things.
He and his friends (‘the Baffled Bunch’) have then have fun posing for their pictures. The pictures show what Mawson’s Ponders would look like if you could see a Ponder.
The Guardian pushes buttons on the camera, rearranges the cushions, ensures a steady supply of chocolates, talks to the publisher, fills out forms and other boring things.
About Mawson’s Little Books with Lots of Heart
Mawson’s latest Book is No Bear Is An Island. “In this delightful story Mawson Bear is the most solitary peaceful realm bear, each bear has its own unique personality, it’s so difficult to have a favourite bear in the bear books because each one is so loveable in a different way.” Review by Sue at Book Read 2 Day.
And don’t forget to snooze after reading Dreamy Days and Random Naps. You can find it all over the place, including Amazon. Just look for the handsome bear napping on the cover.
Mawson’s first Book is It’s a Bright World to Feel Lost In. You can find it all over the place, including Amazon. Somehow, this handsome bear found his way on to the book cover of this one too.
