Guardian, Contacts, Links

Mawson’s Guardian Speaks: A Writer-Bear needs a Guardian because it isn’t easy to get their own furry selves recognised these days. People say, “But you are a bear”. Most frustrating. Anyway when you hit four keys at a time with your big paws can create a terrible muddle in the writing. Someone has to sort it out. So Mark is Mawson’s Guardian.

Mark (the less furry one) helps Mawson to show his latest book, Dreamy Days and Random Naps.

Baffled Bear Books ABN 47887910119: This means, after humanely removing the numbers, Me, Mark, Guardian of Mawson Bear. We live in Perth, Western Australia,

Mawson has the glamorous job of Pondering about Baffling Things.
He and his friends (‘the Baffled Bunch’) have then have fun posing for their pictures. The pictures show what Mawson’s Ponders would look like if you could see a Ponder.

The Guardian pushes buttons on the camera, rearranges the cushions, ensures a steady supply of chocolates, talks to the publisher, fills out forms and other boring things.

‘Reading this book is like receiving a great big hug of reassurance and a huge hot chocolate with fluffy marshmallows. It is a beautifully presented picture books for adults and it comforts while also gently nudging readers to value the ‘bright world’ out there.’ Review by Lady Bracknell on Amazon.

His second book is She Ran Away From Love . This is also at BookDepository and all your favourite retailers. Look for the little bear setting off on a quest to find herself.
